Dancefx is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to spreading the love of dance and improving the local community.
Dancefx was established in Athens, Georgia in 2000 and has expanded to locations in Atlanta and Charleston. Since establishment the organization has experienced a number of successes including a feature in Dance Magazine, an invitation to perform at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, and the ability to host workshops with famous choreographers, including Mia Michaels from So You Think You Can Dance.
Each year Dancefx collaborates with non-profit organizations in Athens to put on events to raise money for their respective causes. The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia and the Athens Area Homeless Shelter are just some of the organizations that Dancefx donates to annually.
